Championship Events

Stonewall is excited and humbled to be selected as the site of the 2016 USGA Mid-Amateur Championship. More details will be posted as we get them from the U.S.G.A

The Old Course has hosted a number of prestigious events since its opening in July 1993 including the Pennsylvania Open, the Philadelphia Amateur, the Philadelphia Open, and the 2006 Women's Trans Nationaland the 2013 United States Amateur Regional Qualifier. The North Course opened August 2003 and has hosted the Mary Farnum Cup for the WGAP, the AJGA Philadelphia Championship in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and the Philadelphia Mid Amateur.

The Old Course has appeared in Golf Magazine's list of the top 100 courses in the U.S. and is presently in the top 100 modern U.S. courses appearing in Golf Week. In its 23 year history, the Old Course has already been the site of many amateur golf tournaments, including the Pennsylvania Open, the Pennsylvania Amateur Match and Stroke Play Championships, the Philadelphia Open, the Philadelphia Amateur and the Pennsylvania Better Ball Championship, and has served as a qualifying course for the U.S. Open. The Old Course has also hosted the Ladies Trans National Tournament and the United States Amateur regional qualifier.

The even younger North Course has hosted the Pennsylvania Amateur Match Play Championship and served as a qualifying course for the U.S. Open, has been recognized by The Golfer as one of the 10 best new private courses in the world and was ranked 13th on Golf Week's list of the 40 best new courses when it opened in 2003—'04.
 

Outings and Corporate Events

From time to time Stonewall Partners sponsor golf outings and dinners for special business functions or family weddings. Stonewall first accommodates our invested Partners, but please feel free to call our General Manager if your company or local organization would like to host an event at Stonewall. We have invested in and are active supporters of our local community and non-profit organizations.

The Golf Association of Philadelphia was founded in 1897. The Association's 142 Member Clubs are spread across parts of four states —Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. The purpose of the association is simple: to preserve, protect and promote the game of golf. Every GAP activity is designed to do just that.
